The Patient Safety Movement Foundation is now accepting endorsements from committed hospitals and partners. Please complete the form below.

What are Actionable Patient Safety Solutions (APSS)?

Actionable Patient Safety Solutions (APSS) are a set of descriptive recipes or processes hospitals and healthcare organizations are asked to implement in order to improve prevalent patient safety challenges in healthcare today.

The Patient Safety Movement Foundation (PSMF) focuses on 16 challenges and 30 total solutions to overcome some of the leading patient safety challenges facing hospitals today. A full list of APSS can be found on our website.

What is an APSS Endorsement?

An APSS endorsement is an act of giving and organization’s public support of one or multiple of the PSMF’s Actionable Patient Safety solutions.

Who can endorse an APSS?

Committed hospitals and partners within the PSMF’s network can endorse one or multiple APSS. Healthcare Technology companies and other for-profit vendors of medical products may not endorse at this time.

How can I endorse an APSS or SubAPSS?

The PSMF will ask which APSS you would like to endorse and you will be asked to sign a form asking for permission to use your trademark.

Where would my logo be listed on the APSS challenges I endorse?

The endorsement section will be listed at the top of each APSS, digitally and in print.

Does an APSS endorsement need to be renewed?

No, if you do not wish to continue endorsing an APSS you may notify the PSMF that you would like to remove your trademark. Please contact clinical@patientsafetymovement.org.
