Diahann Sinclair

Vice President, Organizational and Community Development, St. Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center

Diahann Sinclair is the Vice President of Organizational and Community Development at St. Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center, where she serves as a key member of the hospital’s leadership team. Her responsibilities include overseeing core functions of the hospital including human resources, fundraising and communications.

Since joining St. Bernard in October 2012, Diahann has led some of the organization’s most critical projects. In 2016, she supported the development and later managed the construction of the hospital’s new 70,000 sf. outpatient center which opened in 2016.

For the past eight years, she has been an ambassador for St. Bernard, creating vital connections between the hospital and a host of various constituencies. She leads stakeholder engagement among external audiences including patients, community-based organizations and elected officials.
Diahann contributed to the hospital’s unconventional method of creating a Patient Family Advisory Council for Quality and Safety. During the pandemic, Diahann oversaw the hospital’s mobile unit activation, helping those hit hardest by COVID-19 get tested and vaccinated. She is passionate about advancing equity in the healthcare field and delivering patient care that is culturally relevant.
Before joining St. Bernard, Diahann was the VP of Operations for Chicago Neighborhood Initiatives. She began her career with Park National Bank where she was a Commercial Lender working on various property development projects including rehabs of multi-unit residential properties to the construction of a hotel in downtown Chicago.

Sinclair has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of the West Indies, Kingston, Jamaica. Diahann is an active board member of a number of community organizations including Teamwork Englewood, Chicago Neighborhood Initiatives and Catholic Charities.
